DAY 1 Welcome to London!

In London, you are free to enjoy this famous city with no set itinerary. Explore Hyde Park, or the boutique shops of Knightsbridge, stroll thru the Thames and see the Tower Bridge or the Tower of London. After checking into your hotel, the day is yours to spend it as you please.

DAY 2 We travel from London to Amsterdam

At 7:00 am guests will meet the Travel Director and head to St Pancras Station to board the high-speed Eurostar, departing London and heading towards Amsterdam. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a welcome reception to meet your fellow travelers before enjoying authentic cuisine at a local Amsterdam restaurant.

DAY 3 Rhine Valley and Heidelberg

Visit quaint villages and hilltop castles as you drive through Rhine Valley. Then follow the Neckar River to Heidelberg where a local expert will guide you through the historic red sandstone castle

DAY 4 Visit the Mountain-ringed Innsbruck.

A full day of history and nature as you skirt the northern Black Forest and drive towards the majestic Bavarian Alps. The tour stops at the royal castles of King Ludwig’s Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau before crossing the Austrian border and reaching Tyrolean, Innsbruck where you will tour the Imperial Palace, the Golden Roof, and the 14th-century homes of the quaint Old Town.

DAY 5 – We’re making our way across the Dolomites to Venice

As you journey across the Italian border, you will stop at the hills of Conegliano Veneto for wine harvested from a local family winery. Here you will have the luxury of sampling sparkling wines and learn the art of making the perfect Bellini. Next, you arrive at the city of Venice and enjoy a dinner in the Queen of Adriatic, or the city of waters.

DAY 6 Witness the magic of La Serenissima

When you wake up in Venice, be sure to take in the sights and sounds of the city, for it’s an experience that excites even the most seasoned traveler. The first part of the day includes learning how the Venetian gondola is made and witnessing the skills and craftsmanship of local glassblowers. Then head to Palladio’s San Giorgio Maggiore to explore St. Mark’s Square where you will come across Lord Byron’s Bridge of Sighs which connects the Doge’s Palace to a nearby prison. Once in the town square, find the bell tower, mosaics of St. Mark’s Basilica, and the 500-year-old Moors clock tower. After that, the remaining afternoon is free for optional experiences, shopping in the arcades, or wine and dine in local eateries.

DAY 7 Heading into the Eternal City of Rome

After venturing through the Apennine Mountains and the peaceful landscapes of Tuscany and Umbria, the course of Tiber will take you to your Eternal City of Rome hotel where you will unpack and then head to the home of a roman local and experience true Italian hospitality at its finest. With Italian culture being deeply rooted in food, friends, and family, here you will become Italian for a day as you eat, drink and mingle with the natives.

DAY 8 Visiting Papal and Imperial Rome

Guests will be staying for two nights in Papal and Imperial Rome where a local expert will conduct a private VIP tour of the priceless art found in the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Special engagements include fast-track entry, behind the scenes access to parts of the Vatican known as the Bramante Staircase that are closed off to the public. Next, get mesmerized by the world’s largest most ordained church, St. Peter’s Basilica, and Roman Empires’ largest amphitheater, the Colosseum. DAY 9 Drive thru the Chianti Hills to Florence

As you enter the Gates of Paradise at the Duomo, local experts will lead you to the Piazza de la Signoria where you will find beautiful fountains and statues that adorn the heart of the city acting as an outdoor gallery of Renaissance magnificence.  You can then choose between shopping for infamous gold and leather quality goods, or visit the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s finest masterpiece, ‘David’, lead by a native art historian. When evening rolls around, you will have the privilege of eating at a local family-style trattoria set alongside the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

DAY 10 Free time in Renaissance Florence

On this day, you will have free time to fully immerse yourself in all the magnificence Tuscan has to offer. Visit museums and galleries to see some of the world’s most famous works of art, relax in one of Tuscan’s many street cafes, or simply walk enjoy the natural landscape and scenery that surrounds you.

Day 11 Crossing the Alps and Heading to Lucerne

As you travel past the Italian Lake District into the Swiss Border, you will come upon the emotive Lion Monument located lakeside Lucerne. The limestone memorial is carved cliffside in honor of the heroic Swiss Guards who died during the French Revolution and is of great pride for the natives of Lucerne. The evening has been left open for personal exploration and enjoyment.

DAY 12 – Mount  Pilatus and Lakeside Lucerne

For the earlier part of the day, you will be brought to enjoy breathtaking views of the spectacular Mount Pilatus from Lake Lucerne and witness a panorama of white snowy peaks as you breathe in the fresh mountain air. Upon return to the city, you will have time to enjoy adventures of your own choosing. Stroll across Chapel Bridge, visit Jesuit Church, shop for Swiss watches and chocolates in Old Town, then dine at any one of our hand-selected local restaurants each with their own unique ambiance and cuisine.

DAY 13 Enjoy Paris to the fullest

In the early part of the day, you will travel through Burgundy wine-growing district to the vibrant Ville-Lumiere, of City of Light, Paris, France. Here you will visit the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Notre-dame Cathedral and the banks of the Seine along with all of its infamous bridges. But it doesn’t end there, you will also see the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, and the  Place de la Concorde. The evening will be free for exploration and opportunities to enjoy the famous glittering city and all it has to offer.

DAY 14 Enjoy the flavors of Paris

This day is dedicated to enjoying the local delicacies and food from small family-owned shops such as patisserie, boulangerie, fromagerie, and chocolatier. You will be separated into small groups and guided by local foodie experts for more personalized experiences. Enjoy a Celebration Dinner at an Old Paris style bistro located in the Latin Quarter known as Le Petit Prince De Paris with local ingredients, French wines, and home-style cooking.

DAY 15 Au Revoir, Paris!

Sadly, we must say au revoir to Paris and the rest of Europe as our transfers arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport at 8:00 and 11:00
