My career in travel started out of a genuine passion for vacations.

I grew up in a family that didn’t travel much so when I started exploring the world on my own, I was immediately addicted. My goal in life became to travel with my family as much as possible. I wanted my kids growing up immersed in the various cultures of the world, to meet new people and see new places. It was therefore a natural fit for me to join the travel industry in 2007, and an even better fit when I opened up my own travel company, Kalilei Vacations, in 2014. I get to live out my travel passions daily by coordinating not only my own vacations, but those of my friends, family and clients worldwide.

I enjoy every stage of the planning process and I am always available to my customers. I never miss a phone call and give my clients the option to text me at any time before or during their vacation. It sounds simple, but when was the last time you had customer service like that? It’s kind of a rarity these days! A huge part of my success is always answering my phone.

I am a big cruiser and a huge Disney fan.  I personally take my family on a Disney-related vacation every year and I have traveled extensively on many cruise ships. Why is this important? When it comes to travel, personal experience can make a huge difference. I can steer you to the Disney resort, or ship and cabin that best suits your needs and budget.

Cruise line experience:

  • Royal Caribbean
  • Carnival
  • Disney
  • Princess Cruises
  • Norwegian Cruises

Although I specialize in Cruising and have graduated from the College of Disney Knowledge, I have strategic travel alliances for travel accommodations worldwide.

Certifications include:

  • Maui Nui Specialist Certification
  • Oahu Specialist Certification
  • Island of Hawaii Specialist Certification
  • Kauai Specialist Certification

My advice? Travel now. A wise older client once told me “Travel while you’re young and have your health. Even if you have no money, for when you’re older, you may have money, but you will not be able to do the things you could do 30 years ago.”

I love helping others make their dreams of travel a reality and am happy that my life has led me to opening Kalilei Vacations.

Yours in travel,

Alan Eskelsen,

CEO of Kalilei Vacations
